August 11, 2010 (Hong Kong) – Presented by the Hong Kong International Film Festival Society (HKIFFS), the Summer International Film Festival (SIFF) held its Grand Opening today at The Grand with the World Premiere of director Ann HUI’s highly-anticipated 23rd feature All About Love.
Winner of three Hong Kong Film Awards for Best Director, Ann HUI (The Way We Are) and lead actors, Sandra NG (Echoes of the Rainbow) and Vivian CHOW (Arrest the Restless) walked the red-carpet at the Festival’s Grand Opening. Also present were cast members, William CHAN (Ex) and Joey MAN (The Bride with White Hair).
"We are delighted to celebrate the opening of the 5th SIFF with All About Love, the third consecutive work from Ann HUI to be presented by the HKIFFS,” says SHAW Soo Wei, Executive Director of the HKIFFS. “This premier film event of the summer continues our long tradition of launching the very best in Hong Kong and global cinema.”
